St. Joe Class of 1970 40th Reunion

We have been in contact with St. Joe Class of 1970 regarding their 40th reunion.

We are trying to establish a date in the summer of 2010, here is correspondence with David Knight
St. Joe Class 1970, an good friend.

Hi Randy,
 
We just had our first meeting yesterday and we're looking at these
dates.
 
June 19th & 26th
July 24th & 31st
 
Here's why. July 4th is on Sunday which probably won't work. The
next weekend, July 10th, is Art Fair which isn't a bad date, but we've
had it on that date for the last 2 reunions and so we're thinking of
moving it. July 17th is Venetian and we've always stayed away from
that date as it's just too hectic, at least we think so. So we're
looking at those dates above. Our first choice is July 24th weekend.
 
I mentioned having a Friday night get together with your class and the
committee was pretty cool with it. We have a possibility of having it
at a classmates house who has about 6 acres with a pool, room for
volley ball, and a stage for the band. You know the band? I'm not
sure we talked about it but we were thinking it would be fun to have
the equipment set up so we'd get all or some of the musicians to play
some music that evening.
 
So, that's what up for this moment. Please ask me anything re: this
as I think we can do something with your class and it would be a good
time.

I have not been able to keep up with all that is going on as much as I would like to, but I like the idea of having more than just a one night/day thing. This idea of getting together with the other class...even "them" across the river...is a good one...we could even let BHHS 69 and BHHS 71 know about our dates so they can participate if they want to...

David Knight has informed me that St. Joe Class of 1970 will have their 40th reunion on July 31st 2010!!
The Friday eve pre-party should be lively!!
